We'd like to share one of those stories with you- "My father was 6'4" and had a personality to match...He was larger than life to me." said Gayle, when we talked this morning. Gayle is the Founder of Fed Brew and a Certified Health Coach, Kombucha Brewer, and Fermentation & Gut Health Professional. When she was a little girl, her father traveled to Yemen for work. When he came back home, he would regale her with fantastic stories of exotic lands, piles of riches, and a very special tea that could be found nowhere else in the world. Gayle's Coffee Berry Spice Kombucha is an ode to her father, who passed away a few years ago, and an homage to this memory. She worked with a local coffee roaster and spice blender to develop a flavor profile that echoes her father's stories of Yemen and this special tea: full of cardamom, black pepper, and cinnamon. Complimenting this custom spice blend is the coffee berry- the fruit that surrounds the infamous bean, which has a mild fruit flavor reminiscent of currant, red raspberry, hibiscus, and cherry.
